Our Story
ICN (In‑House Counsel Network) was established in 2007 by three highly regarded senior legal counsel in Calgary: David Holub, Bonita Croft, and Susan Purcell. They founded ICN to support the growing community of in‑house lawyers in Alberta—many working in small departments—by providing resources, professional development, and peer networking to address common challenges such as staying current across practice areas, accessing timely precedents and policies, and delivering cost‑effective legal advice.
Our network has grown to become Alberta’s longest-running community for in-house counsel, fostering meaningful connections and providing essential resources for legal professionals navigating the complexities of corporate legal practice.
